The University President Dr. Abdel Monim Abbas Kerim stressed the importance of ensuring the student's safety as they take the final examinations, paying especial attention to the issues related to the social divergence in the examination halls his excellency also stressed the importance of ongoing sterilization of the examination halls.

This was during the meeting of the University Council held on Thursday the 7th of July at which the 25th of this July was approved as the date for launching the final examinations for students of primary studies, and The examinations for post-graduate studies should begin in the middle of the same month.

The session also examined academic courses in postgraduate studies and approved the formation of university-level committees and their formations to submit constructive proposals to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The results of the competitive examination of applicants for post-graduate studies were also discussed after it had been reviewed in detail by the University's Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Amer Mohamed Ibrahim, and approved the declaration of initial acceptance at the University's sites and colleges next Saturday to allow for a period of objections before the final acceptance is announced this mid-month according to the times set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The Council approved the creation of a Global Publishing Unit at the Presidency of the University and its faculties, which is linked to the continuing education divisions, with the task of assisting researchers and graduate students to publish in world journals and to protect them from publication in predatory journals.

The Council concluded its session by discussing a number of issues relating to the scientific and administrative career of teaching staff and students and by taking a number of decisions in accordance with the regulations and powers granted.
